1. What we collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and the relationship descriptions and gift preferences you enter into the platform. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance purposes.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the intelli.gift service — to generate gift suggestions, maintain your relationship memory, and send you calendar reminders if you opt in. We do not use your personal data or relationship information to train AI models.
3. We do not sell your data
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information or relationship data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Your relationships are yours.
4. Third-party services
We use Vercel for hosting (which processes server request data), and Stripe for payment processing. Both operate under their own privacy policies. We do not share relationship data with any third party.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregate usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. You can export all your data in JSON format from your account settings. To request account deletion, contact us at the address below.
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your data. Access to personal data is restricted to team members who need it to provide the service.
9. Children
intelli.gift is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
